About us
Rosenfeld Arens Architects Ltd. is an architecture firm established in 1989 in Jerusalem by architects Mendy Rosenfeld and Aliza Arens. The firm was founded following their return to Israel from their studies in the U.S. at Columbia University in New York (Mendy) and UC Berkeley in California (Aliza).
Since its inception, the firm has gained extensive experience in all branches of planning, design, and construction supervision: urban master plans, urban renewal and TAMA 38, public buildings, offices and employment, hospitality, commerce and industry, residential, preservation, urban design, and interior design. The firm has participated in numerous invited competitions, including the design of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design campus, the Van Leer Institute, and the renewal of the Tel Aviv Port (the Yarkon Peninsula). In 2013, the firm opened its second branch in Tel Aviv; together, both offices employ nearly twenty full-time architects and several freelance staff members.
“We believe in teamwork and collaboration with all professionals, in modesty and mutual support, and in creative architectural thinking with constant consideration for the existing environment. We are in a continuous search for the hidden meaning within each project, planning and designing through an understanding of the human experience.”
